英国陆军（British Army）是第二次世界大战期间联合王国核心地面作战力量，统筹正规常备陆军、本土防卫义勇军（Territorial Army）、殖民地及自治领协同地面部队，受英国陆军总参谋部直接管辖，战时承担本土防御、多战区远征、两栖登陆、占领管制等全域陆战任务，是同盟国地面战线的核心组成力量之一。1939 年战争爆发初期，全军含常备军与预备役总规模约 89.3 万人；至 1945 年战争结束，累计动员兵力超 300 万人，构建起覆盖欧洲、北非、地中海、东南亚四大战区的全域作战体系 日军偷袭东南亚后，英军驻缅甸部队初期被迫战略撤退至印度；后续重组第 14 集团军，依托印度基地发起反攻，历经英帕尔、科希马防御战粉碎日军入侵印度企图，逐步收复缅甸全境，击溃日本缅甸方面军，保障南亚战略补给线安全
