𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 The Group of Soviet Forces in Germany is an organisational structure comprised of many different Army formations, united under a unified command structure. As its name suggests, this structure is centred around Soviet Forces present in the German Democratic Republic. 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 Soldiers within any Soviet Army division are eligible to join the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany.
