Description

Grenadiers of Luzon ━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The Grenadiers of Luzon were a regiment within the Spanish Army during the colonial period in the Philippines. They were part of the larger Spanish colonial forces stationed in the region of Luzon, which is the largest and most populous island in the Philippines. The regiment was primarily composed of Filipino soldiers, known as "indios" or "indigenous Filipinos," who served under Spanish command. The Grenadiers of Luzon were considered an elite unit within the Spanish Army and were specially trained for combat, particularly in the use of grenades and close-quarters combat. The uniform of the Grenadiers of Luzon likely followed the standard Spanish military attire of the time. This typically consisted of a blue or gray coat with red or gold trim, along with white trousers and a wide-brimmed hat. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Ejército Español en Filipinas General: N/A Coronel: N/A Regimental Status: Recruiting and Mobilizing Founded: 6/19/2023
