Description
The Confederacy of Independent Systems was a separatist political and military alliance that emerged in the Outer Rim in 24 BBY in opposition to the corrupt bureaucracy of the Galactic Republic. Established on Geonosis under the leadership of Count Dooku, this organization spearheaded the secession of hundreds of systems on the galactic frontier with the support of the Trade Federation, Techno Union, Banking Clan, and other major commercial powers. - Tensions between the Republic and the Confederacy erupted in the Battle of Geonosis in 22 BBY, triggering the Clone Wars. The Separatist Council, an elite body managing the strategic and economic aspects of the war, financed the droid armies under General Grievous' command. However, the Council was part of Darth Sidious' secret plan; its members were executed by Darth Vader on Mustafar in 19 BBY, leading to the collapse of the Confederacy and accelerating the rise of the Galactic Empire. 💬 MOTTO 》》“For Freedom, For the Future" || CIS ||
