Description

On M@y 23rd, I873, royal assent was granted for the formation of a police force to enforce law and order in the Northwest Territories of the Dominion of Canada. Originally 150 members were hired to serve this duty, doubling in size to 300 for 'the march west'. Over the past 150 years, the RCMP has expanded to 18 500 members, with an additional 10 000 civilian employees, policing Canada's vast expanses. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, or Mounties as we've come to know them, provide federal policing to the nation, provincial policing to eight provinces, and tnree territories as well, providing municipal policing in 750 detachments. The RCMP has become a respected police service internationally, second to none. This roblox version of the RCMP will be run at a detachment scale. Rather than mimicking the entire rank structure of the RCMP, we will advance no further than Sergeant for the time being.
