Description
From the pebbel shores and across the Pine Barrens, 844 men from Long Island answer Lincolns call for volunteers. Leaving their families and livelihoods behind for the prospect of creating a more greater union. One devoid of the sin of slavxry that the southern states are more than happy to endulge in. However unknown to the brave Long Island boys they were about to embark on a three year journey that only 344 would come back from. Across three years these men would find themselves in the heat of battle 23 times. Now, almost 162 years later you have the opportunity to relive the great odyssey this boys carved through the pages of history. So join me with the 1st Long Island Volunteers, and fight for the cause we know is just.
