Description
Brief History The Lordship of Ireland was founded upon the destruction of the Kingdom of Ireland and Dublin. The Kingdom of Ireland and Dublin was controlled by the Irish Gaelic who were under the command of the Norse who were responsible for the invasion of Ireland and England. Mostly comprised of Danes and Gaelics, the defence was a strong one, but King Brian Boru was not to bow his land of Ireland to the hand of Norse. The English were quick to join his side in order to relieve the control of the Norse. The deal was that the English were to aid the Irish in the retaking of their country, and the Irish would ally with England. The deal was kept upon the removal of the Norse and both the Irish and the English joined together in what is now today "The United Kingdom of England and Ireland"
