Description
STATE OF CASCADIA The Evergreen State In 1843, Cascadia, comprising Oregon, Washington, and parts of British Columbia, joined the United States. This followed the Cascade Convention in Willamette Valley, where residents chose unity with the United States. Cascadia officially became the 28th state on November 11, 1843. This move opened access to abundant resources like fertile soil and timber, and the Columbia River became a vital trade route. Cascadia's diverse population enriched its culture, and its constitution emphasized tolerance and unity. Over time, Cascadia thrived through education, innovation, and sustainability. Cities like Portland and Seattle prospered, and the region's natural beauty drew tourists. Cascadia's climate fostered flourishing industries and sustainability practices. Cascadia also played a pivotal role in shaping U.S. politics and culture, advocating for progressive policies and environmental protection. With Cascadia in the US, a prosperous future awaits.
