The Linux Federation is a small nation in Eastern Europe bordering the Democratic Republic of Windows and the Kingdom of Apple. Standing in strong allegiance with the Democratic Republic of Windows, out of necessity, the Linux Federation stands behind not only the might of the DRW's Antivirus Armed Forces, but its own very capable and overfunded military, being the #1 nation in the Commonwealth when it comes to military spending as a percentage of national budget. It is a secretive nation, and is home to one of the wealthiest upper classes on earth, though the wealth of the lower 98% of citizens remains unreported.
