🌸┃ 𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐈-𝐇𝐀𝐍 1600 - 1871 📋┃𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐔𝐒: Sendai-han (Sendai Domain) was a northern Domain in Mutsu Province that held great respect for the Shogun. Despite the Sendai Domain being neutral during the Boshin War Imperial forces recognized its respect as loyalty to the Shogunate turning the Sendai into an enemy of the Imperial Family. After witnessing the destruction of the Aizu, the Sendai surrendered. Its men, however, such as the Gakuheitai refused to kneel before Imperial forces. Gakuheitai would go on to fight in the Boshin War to their last stand in the Ezo Republic.
