• Oriental Shipping Company | Orient Line • "Voyage like a Maharaja!" The Oriental Shipping Company, or OSC for short, has been offering its passengers pleasing comfort with excellent service since 1889. It was founded with the aim of increasing passenger shipping between France and North African countries such as Egypt and offering as much comfort as possible. However, OSC soon expanded to other sailing areas such as India or the north Atlantic, but still offered the personal and friendly service as before. It became one of the leading French shipping companies in history. Our Orient Lady's: S/S "Oiseau" - 1938 (revamp) S/S "Olargues" - 1969 (in service) T/S/S "Oriana" - 1971 (revamp) S/S "Oradour" - 1953 (in service) S/S "Oriente" - 1965 (in service)
