🌿 La Confédération Suisse Confederazione Svizzera The Swiss Confederation, which formed in 1803 thanks to the Act of Mediation to 1815, was one of many French states during the Napoleonic Wars. It was preceded by the Helvetic Republic, a republic that was formed by a French invasion in 1798. The Confederation was promised much land in the Act of Mediation however, they got little of what was promised. Neuchatel was given to a French Marshal, Ticino was occupied and used by French Troops and Valais was became a department of the French Empire.
