Description

In November of 1848, Richard W. wrote the last piece of Der Ring des Nibelungen, a cycle of four musical dramas. This piece, entitled "Götterdämmerung," is a translation of the Old Norse phrase Ragnarök, referring to a war between Gods which shall result in the End of Days and the remaking of the world. Dear friend, our genesis lies within the profound realization that omnipotent beings, though revered and worshipped, are harbingers of cosmic dissonance. The delicate fabric of existence deserves protection from the whims of divine powers. What we intend to create will be worth every sacrifice. Our own Götterdämmerung. The Twilight of the Gods.
