Description
𝐄𝐘𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐓 𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐔𝐒𝐔 During the Napoleonic Era, the Ottoman Empire relied on the "Eyalet Ordusu" or the Provincial Army, as a significant component of its military forces. The Eyalet Ordusu was structured around the administrative divisions known as eyalets, which were large provinces in the empire. Each eyalet had its own locally recruited troops, and the governors were responsible for organizing and maintaining these forces. While the Eyalet Ordusu provided a means of defense for the provinces, it also highlighted the decentralized nature of the Ottoman military during this period.
