The Eastern District, which protects the central area of Japan, the capital and 10 prefectures The Eastern District, located in the core of Japan, protects the capital and 10 prefectures. It is responsible for the defense and security area prefectures, as well as for quickly responding to disasters, including earthquakes directly beneath the capital. We are working hard on education and training every day to help ensure the safety of the people who face the current world situation, natural disasters, reconstruction, and other aspects of their daily lives.
