Research has always been a key component of the Federal Bureau of Control. Because of this, it only makes sense that it consistently receives the largest budget, the largest sector and the largest toys. The Department of Research is one of the FBC's cornerstones. Per its name, its tasked with conducting research into virtually all paranatural matters - whether it be the intrusion of ectodimensional forces, the relation between 2 completely separate events or psionic abilities wielded by individuals.
