Description
Socialist Republic of Silurēs Following the "Silent Revolution" in the 1870's, where Silurēsian serfs and peasants began to ignore the authority of the previous monarchy, the state of Silurēs quickly became more autocratic in order to handle the famines and counter-revolutions that followed. By the turn of the century, as the sparse political violence finally ended, the General-Secretary has finally fully consolidated power. Stable and with the backing of the vast majority of the proletariat, Silurēs may now look outward and engage with the wider international community.
