Description
The Shinsengumi was a special police force organized by the Bakufu during the Bakumatsu Era. It was founded to protect to Shogunate representatives present in Kyoto during the period. Its members were recruited from students of sword schools in Edo, as well as various ronin, though they were later officially made direct retainers of the Shogun. The Shinsengumi also participated in the Boshin War, and were disbanded shortly afterward. Our function is as an elite peacekeeping force, prosecuting criminals, gangsters, rebels and terrorists all across Kyoto. We pledge our swords to the Shogun, and dedicating our lives to eradicating all that is evil. We are the Wolves of Mibu. Est. Feb. 2017 悪即斬 Aku Soku Zan! "A swift death to evil."
