Klassik #32887257
Description
A group for supporting the Roblox sword fighting playstyle commonly known as "classic", characterized by the rejection of shift lock techniques. Shift lock, also known as mouselock, allows a Roblox avatar to continuously face in a direction that is not bound to which direction the Roblox avatar is walking. Shift lock also enables arbitrarily quick turning, no matter whether the avatar is grounded or in the air. In contrast, classic players forfeit these movement options to opt into a more challenging sword fighting experience. I encountered the culture of classic sword fighting in the mid-2010s. Having sword fought for a while using mouselock, I grew intrigued by the culture of groups such as The Kings Only, inspiring me to focus exclusively on classic play. In this group, both shift lock and classic players, sword fighters and fencers, are welcome alike. The group has a few roles that a member can use to indicate their playstyle.
