Societas Triadis Aventini #32934002
Description
Society of the Aventine Triad The Society of the Aventine Triad acts as a cult of the three gods associated with the plebeians of Rome; Liber, Libera, and Ceres. The society seems only to be an organization of like-minded individuals, cultists, and philanthropists working as advocates to the common people of Rome, however some spread rumors that the Societas Triadis Aventini also serves a deeper purpose. LIBER: Also known as Liber Pater and the free one. Liber is a god of male fertility and freedom among other things. He is often invoked by plebeians during plebeian revolts and secessions. LIBERA: The female aspect of Liber, Libera is recognized among the majority of Romans under a new name as the Roman equivalent of the Greek goddess Persephone. The society rejects this claim and continues to worship Libera as the female side of Liber. CERES: Goddess of agriculture, the harvest, motherhood, and the earth. Ceres is the mother of Liber and Libera.
