The Queensguard was established as the First QG into service as Protectors to Queen Rhaenyra I Targaryen and Her Children. Technichally the First Queen to sit the Iron Throne. While the Kingsguard were assigned too King Aegon II of His Name and his Lineage. For Over a Century since the Time of the Conquest, The Kingsguard were the Elite of Elite Knights assigned to Protect the Ruling Monarchs. The Tradition was Re-Affirmed throughout Jaehaerys I time. Queen Regent Alyssa V-e-l-a-r-y-o-n suggested that her son award white cloaks to champions of the tourney of her Gold Wedding to Lord Rogar Baratheon. The Tourney was decreed as there were 5 Vacancies in the KG since Jaehaerys I Succession to the Throne. The Current Lord Commander to the QG is Ser Steffon Darklynn, And the Lord Commander to Aegon II KG is Ser C-h-r-i-s-t-a-n Cole.
