Description
House Manton of the Thismonian Kingdom "Built Like a Manton." House Manton began as a minor house, a vassal to The Evergreen Family who held Steckerway in the olden days. The family has a history of unruliness, a branch even attempting to overthrow Evergreen control in the Salt Isles. This unruliness had given them the reputation of boorish nature. After the civil war for the crown between the Evergreens and Harwicks, the Mantons stayed in Steckerway while many went overseas to Galerith to escape the poor conditions. In the absence of the great house Evergreen, the Mantons grew to be the most powerful House in Steckerway, acquiring the support from those remaining.
