ℙ𝔼𝔼ℝ𝔸𝔾𝔼 𝕆𝔽 𝕋ℍ𝔼 𝕌ℕ𝕀𝕋𝔼𝔻 𝕂𝕀ℕ𝔾𝔻𝕆𝕄 The British Peerage makes up the titled nobility of the United Kingdom. It is a form of crown distinction to recognise the merits of long-serving officers in high standing within the army. Peerage titles in the British Army were exclusively awarded to officers who proven themselves with distinction in the eyes of the King. Outside of the Army, holding a peerage title would automatically grant you and your descendants the right to hold a seat in the House of Lords within Parliament. Also, holding a title of peerage would automatically grant you the right to have your own arms mounted with a coronet of your title.
