The Syrian Democratic Forces is a coalition of ethnic militias and rebel groups in North and East Syria. A US formed and backed alliance of forces formed during the Syrian civil war composed primarily of Kurdish militias with some Arab, and Assyrian/Syriac, Armenian, Turkmen and Chechen militias.
