Description
The Chicago Fire Department; First founded in the early nineties but Firefighting has been traced back to Virginia, named the “Washington Volunteers”. In this department, we respond to emergency calls on our two main lines of service, Rescue Squad (Squad Three) and Truck Squad, (Truck Eighty-One) We provide emergency assistance and EMS support, we follow upon the Firefighter Motto, “We save more than homes.” As you join this group you agree to our service and the Fireman’s Creed, “I humbly serve as a guardian to my community; always ready to respond to those who are unable to help themselves. I do not advertise the nature of my work or seek recognition for my actions. I voluntarily accept the inherent hazards of my profession, placing the welfare and security of others above my own.” As you go through voluntary employment as a fireman, you shall be recruited and promoted. We have a discoard you must join, for some members they are a exceptional service. Discoard: Chicago Fire DP.
