The Sultanate of Anatolia, located in Anatolian Plateau is an autonomous region within the Abbaxsid state. Its populous mainly consists of nomadic peoples, including Turks who make up its majority. Living near the Byzantine frontier has made them accustomed to frequent war, battle hardening its army, giving them a huge amount of expertise.
