Description
-- 🥁 11th Mississippi Infantry Regiment 🥁 -- - 'University Greys' - ________________________________________________________________ The 11th Mississippi Infantry Regiment was formed at the very beginning of the revolution, serving alongside units such as the Stonewall Brigade in Virginia, where their worth was proved on the battlefields of Manassas and Gettysburg. Famously, Company A of the Regiment, known as the 'University Greys' as nearly all of the men who made up the company enlisted while enrolled in the University of Mississippi, are the embodiment of patriotism across the South. ________________________________________________________________
