Description
Following the victory of the army over the Williamite forces at the Battle of the Boyne, where William of Orange was struck dead by a cannonball whilst picnicing on the bank of the river, King James II was able to cement his control over Ireland and Scotland with the loyalty of the Highland Clans. What ensued was a great civil war between James and his traitorous daughter Mary with the Loyal Forces eventually wrestling control of England from the usurpers and Parliament. This ended the century of civil war in Britain and affirmed the Stuarts as the rightful lawful Kings of England, Scotland, and Ireland. ________________________________ King: Charles IV Era: ~1860s
