Many decades ago, an oath was sworn. An oath that would defy a nation, an oath that would would mount the fall of an empire. Many decades ago, a promise to those in need of a promise, a promise of peace and demise. Many decades ago, a soldier swore an oath! The 3rd War shook the world, children trembled in their dreams, it made the strongest of generals weary, and from that... an oath. The faded warrior they called him, moving so swiftly, slaying from behind, slicing to the core. A cold winter's day, the smell of fear in the air, the ground covered in blood, Sagar, the necromancer, strongest of the five, deployed his forces across Teer. That day was one of death and absolute war, and yet from that terrible day, an empire was born. Thyme the Honorable, some call him keeper of the winds, or the faded warrior, swore that great oath, and out of it, The Armies of the Fade were born. In the valley of Temisist the capital city of the fade, Okar, lay as a beacon to the hopeless, like an oath!
