Description
Scattered across the mountains and villages of Afghanistan, insurgent fighters wage a relentless guerrilla war against coalition forces and the United States Army. Operating from hidden compounds, remote valleys, and civilian strongholds, these militant groups rely on ambushes, roadside bombs, hit-and-run attacks, and intimidation to maintain control over the region. Outnumbered and outgunned, the insurgency survives through mobility, local knowledge, and fear. Fighters blend into the population by day and strike under the cover of darkness, turning narrow roads and isolated outposts into deadly battlegrounds.
