Description
𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 When Parliament executed King Charles in 1649, the Commonwealth of England was proclaimed to defend England’s people & her liberties. With “Pax quæritur bellum,” or “Peace is obtained through war” as her motto, the new republic endured trying times and became quickly became isolated from potential friends, instead making bitter enemies. Up into the 20th century, the nation has evolved into an authoritarian and puritan dictatorship; the utopia Parliament dreamed of has quickly evolved into dystopia at the advantage of bureaucrats. The Great War destroyed the nation’s finances and England has evolved into a police state at constant hostility with the world.
