𝐀𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 ・✦・ ・ ASNC began as a small clipper sailing company, primary focusing of goods and cattle in the Atlantic. In 1848, with a growing demand for passenger and US/Royal Mail travel, the Atlantic Nav. Co. constructed a fleet of Passenger U.S. Mail Steamers, after years of just chartering Ships from other companies. ・ During the periods of the 1870s to the 1900s, the company was at its prime, doing weekly sailings from hotspots around the globe.
