They were tasked with protecting the Emperor and his most trusted advisors, and were highly skilled in combat and communication. The selection process is incredibly exclusive, and people fight tooth and nail to become apart of the prestigious division. 𝗘𝗡𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 Enlistment is done through tryouts or going through an academy, after that you will be put into the Initiate Program. In which you will be conditioned and trained to become a member of the IRG.
