United Counties of Ireland ◙▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬◙ After the successful Fenian Rising of 1867, Ireland after nearly 600 years of English rule was free at last. The struggle and sacrifice of their forefathers fresh on their minds after the numerous failed risings in years prior, the Irish swore to never allow England to take hold of the Emerald Isles ever again. During the 67' Rising, the Irish saw several foreign military Attachés approach Ireland to aid in their fight against the English, most notably the United States, German Empire, and France. The United States was chosen out of these contenders, with the other nations having limited involvement outside of arms deals and weapon imports.
