"Criminal Apprehension Team Agents are authorized to bear arms and apprehend suspects; and whose primary responsibility is the prevention and detection of crime or the enforcement of the penal, criminal, traffic, or highway laws of the state. The Oceanpoint State Patrol’s primary duty is to preserve the lives of the public.
