MARTIAN CONGRESSIONAL REPUBLIC "Mars Praevalebit" ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The first human colonies on Mars were settled in the late 21st century. As the colonies grew, so did their population. Before long, there were entire generations born on Mars that would spend most, if not all, of their life there. Mars developed an identity separate from the UN-controlled Earth, and soon sought independence. Martian freedom would come after an agreement with Earth to share recently-discovered propulsion technology, after centuries of conflict narrowly avoiding a war with the United Nations. Today, the MCR is a shining example of democracy in the Sol system.
