Honvéd Koronaôrség #33295951
Description
The re-establishment of the unit was greatly facilitated by the Magyar Koronaőrök Egyesülete, which ensured that the issue remained on the agenda for two decades after the change of regime. When the Association was founded, it undertook, as József Vitéz had wished in his will, to have the National Guard take over the guarding and protection of the insignia of the kingdom. The decision to re-establish the Guard was taken by the Szent Korona Testület in 2010.
