𝐄𝐃𝐎 𝐁𝐀𝐊𝐔𝐅𝐔 📜 “ 勝つべからずと見れば、しかりとて負くるべし。” 🏯 Tokugawa Ieyasu, who was once known as Matsudaira Motoyasu, established his dominance over Japan after the battle of Sekigahara in the year 1600, over the Western Army led by Ishida Mitsunari. In the year of 1603, the Emperor Gō-Yōzei, granted him the title of 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘨𝘶𝘯— thus laying the foundations for the 265 year long Edo 𝘣𝘢𝘬𝘶𝘧𝘶. ⚔️ In recent times however, the authority of the 𝘣𝘢𝘬𝘶𝘧𝘶 continues to be undermined by 𝘵𝘰𝘻𝘢𝘮𝘢 𝘥𝘢𝘪𝘮𝘺𝘰, who intermingle with ideas of restoration of the authority of the Emperor. However, this presents a bright opportunity for the 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘨𝘶𝘯 to reassert his authority— by means of modernization through Western technology, and mobilization of its vast domains who swear fealty to us. 🪭 Will you, a vassal of the 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘨𝘶𝘯, take up arms and crush the growing unrest within the han, or will you perish in resistance?
