WHAT WE DO We are a specialized team of firearms officers who respond to high-risk situations, including terrorist incidents, hostage sieges, and armed attacks. Our primary role is to protect the UK from terrorism and to keep our communities safe. We work closely with other agencies, including the police, intelligence services, and other emergency responders, to share intelligence and coordinate our efforts. We provide a range of services, including: Responding to terrorist incidents and high-risk situations Providing security and protection for high-profile targets, including government buildings, public events, and prominent individuals Conducting surveillance and gathering intelligence to disrupt and prevent terrorist activities Working with communities to promote awareness and understanding of the threat of terrorism and to encourage people to report any suspicious activity Our team is highly trained and equipped to deal with the most challenging situations.
