𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 Nylands Regemente The Nylands Infantry Regiment was one of the original 20 Swedish infantry regiments summoned in the Swedish constitution of 1634, infact 18th in order. Hailing from Finland from the modern day Finnish capital Helsinki. Nylands is proud of its Finnish heritage and makes up one of the core regiments of the Swedish-Finnish Army. Created from the twin merges of Östra and Västra Nyland Regiments, it participated in the consequential Battle of Poltava and the Hat's War in 1761. The Regiment fought vigorously for it's survival in the Finnish War, participating in the battles of Revolax, Sävar and Ratan and Kalix. Nylands now faces a threat to east once again as it has many times, as the mighty Russian bear awakens from its long slumber to threaten Sweden and Finland and thus will be mobilized to the nation's defence.
