-[Militia]- #33327697
Description
The People's Militia of the Socialist Republic of Romania was a crucial component of the country's internal security apparatus during its socialist period. Established to safeguard the socialist regime, uphold public order, and protect the interests of the working class, the militia played a significant role in maintaining social control and enforcing party directives. Comprised of dedicated volunteers and conscripts, the People's Militia operated at the local level, with units stationed in cities, towns, and villages across the country.
