Description
The Veiled World lore-verse is a small 2030s-themed canon, based in the broader SCP Genre. VW puts a greater emphasis on having a more realistic take on how the world would evolve around the presence of anomalies with themes of geopolitics, minor sci-fi elements, a shadow conflict and generally a greater focus on the world itself rather than focusing heavily on the various anomalous phenomena that many view as the only unique and defining quality of the SCP Genre. In simpler terms, this small project aims to produce an interesting canon with several Groups of Interest (many of which are custom, and tie into other parts of the "commonly accepted" lore of the SCP Genre) that all have their own goals, doctrines and means of achievement. This includes many of the world's governments, private military groups, criminal groups, research institutions, manufacturers and even insurance firms. "Don't freak out! Yes, nobody's wrong.
