Description
𝓑𝓡𝓔𝓣𝓦𝓐𝓛𝓓𝓐 Meaning sovereign, 'wide-ruler' over all Britain, this was achieved by only some of the greatest Lords of the Angles, Caxons and Jutes throughout the 8th-9th centuries. Kings like Ecgberht (839 AD), Aelle (514 AD), and Ceawlin (592 AD) were all given such a title, each establishing their dominance and hegemony over their neighboring Kingdoms. Other titles like 'Rex' were also used... But the Legions of Rome are now long gone, and the landscape of the land is unrecognizable. The current year is now 867 AD, all the towns along the coasts of the Irish sea lay open to raid and plunder; and have become prime grounds for a Vikingr to become a Sea-King, Saekongur. And now, the Great Heathen Army under Ivar, Halfdan, and Ubba settled down for the winter in East Anglia in 866 AD; and many Vikingr like them now seek out their fortune in this chaos.
