Description

The United Grid Security Council (abbreviated GridSec) is the single (and only ever existing) most effective governing body the Existential Grid has ever seen. It prizes the idea of a Grid with rules and boundaries, a system to protect the lives of Grid from the Superintelligence, and even from itself. However, this ambition has left them overstretched. There is simply too much ground to cover, and as a result the Council is too spread thin to mount any effective resistance against the Superintelligence, often relying on third parties on its territorial fringes to do their dirty work for them. GridSec is the main overarching antagonistic faction of all of my worldbuilding projects.
