Description
Πεζεταίροι "𝑰𝒏𝒇𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔" At the heart of the Macedonian phalanx stands the Πεζεταίροι or "Infantry Companions," forming the core and backbone of the Macedonian military forces. In Macedonia, the greatest honor a father can bestow upon his son is to pass down his helmet and shield, symbolizing the transfer of his legacy and achievements to the next generation. Those aspiring to join the ranks of the Macedonian phalangites as a worthy member must reach out to a Stratiotis Ektatoi within the specific taxeis they aim to become part of.
