Their invasion of Earth is marked by swift and brutal enforcement of their rule, which is carried out by a combination of alien soldiers, mechanical constructs, and human collaborators. The Combine's presence on Earth has drastically altered human society, with towering structures and advanced technology symbolizing their control. They enforce a totalitarian regime.
