Description

ᴇᴀꜱᴛᴇʀɴ ꜱᴇᴀ ʟɪɴᴇ ────── ✵ ────── Founded in Bristol in December of 1886, the Eastern Sea Line is a British shipping company operating a variety of vessels across the British Empire and the United States. The company takes its name from the East Coast of the United States, where its first services were established. From a modest early operation, the line quickly grew into a major shipping line with routes spanning numerous ports and regions. The Eastern Sea Line is most known for its First Class spaces, with the company placing greater emphasis on the comfort and treatment of its wealthier passengers. The line reached the height of its success between 1900 and the Post-War Period, during which it became a well-established and respected name in British shipping. ────── ✵ ────── ▸ SS.
