The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) is the largest sheriff’s department in the United States, serving over 10 million residents across Los Angeles County. With a mission to enforce the law, maintain order, and protect public safety, the LASD provides patrol services to 42 contract cities, unincorporated areas, and supports a wide range of regional and specialized law enforcement operations.
