Description
Protection FDA Police must act with integrity, objectivity, honesty, fairness, and respect for the law and the public. They cannot engage in corruption or accept gifts that could influence their performance. Use of force: Force is a serious responsibility that must be used judiciously to achieve a lawful objective, such as making a lawful arrest, preventing escape, or defending others. It should not be used unless necessary. Legal obligations: When a person is in custody and about to be interrogated, officers must provide Miranda warnings, which inform them of their right to remain silent and their right to an attorney. Policy adherence: Officers must follow departmental policies, which can cover various situations, including how to deal with individuals who have communicable diseases.
