It is responsible for national defence, force-to-force engagement, and occupation of enemy territory, and others. The Army is comprised of volunteer professionals, however, it also serves as the parent organization of the Imperial Militia, a non-professional fighting force. Along with the Militia, the Imperial Army incorporates several different corps to achieve different ends, such as the Armoured Corps and Flying Corps.
